About
Raised on hard work and honesty
Jane was raised by parents who taught her hard work, honesty and community service. Her interest in politics and public service began early, shaped by family around the kitchen table.
For 33 years she owned and operated County Girl Creations, a successful Canadian business. That experience gave her firsthand understanding of what responsible leadership takes — budgets that balance, promises that are kept, and people who are heard.
Accomplishments
A record of getting things done
- Instrumental in saving the Coldwater Grist Mill — presented the offer to purchase that saved the mill
- Assisted with the establishing of the BIA in Coldwater
- Raised $20,000 in private money to purchase the Coldwater Clock
- Successfully campaigned for traffic lights at Hwy 169 & Muskoka St
- Lobbied to keep the Matchedash dump site open in 2022
- Chaired the writing of the Coldwater Village Memories book
- Financially supported Lakehead University
